Confidentiality

Trust and confidence are essential parts of counselling and psychotherapy and any information you may share with me via e-mail, phone and during therapy sessions will be kept in strict confidence. Information is never shared with third parties without your written consent.
Exceptions to third-party sharing of information
In accordance with BACP code of ethics and professional practice, cases may be discussed with a clinical supervisor. Discussions are always anonymous. A client's name cannot be identified.
Content of our sessions is confidential and will not be released to a third party without your written consent, except where required or permitted by law (potential danger to self or others; suspected child, elder or dependent-adult abuse).
Information is kept in accordance with the regulations set out by BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) to process personal information.

I do not have mailing lists and your information will never be used for marketing purposes.

I am registered with the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework. I am committed to continued professional development to increase my knowledge and skills. I have indemnity insurance.
